Who is this course aimed at?

This half-day course is aimed at anyone who would like to be able to produce basic Word Processing documents using Word 2010. Applicants should have some experience of using computers or have completed “Basic IT Skills” training.

How long does the course last?

This is a half-day course, lasting 3 hours.

How will I benefit from this course?

By the end of the session, all participants will feel more confident using

Word 2010 and be able to create a document from scratch. The skills you will learn will help you present effective documents to be used in report writing, displays, publicity etc. You will also receive a Certificate of Attendance in recognition of the new skills you have acquired.

Word Intermediate

Who is this course aimed at?

This day course is aimed at anyone who would like to improve their current knowledge of Word and take advantage of the more complex features. Applicants should have some experience of using computers or have completed “Word Processing - Introduction” training.

How long does the course last?

This is a full-day’s course, lasting 5 hours.

How will I benefit from this course?

By the end of the session, all participants should be able to produce an effective Word Processing documents & labels. The skills you will learn will help you present effective documents to be used in report writing, displays, publicity etc. You will also receive a Certificate of Attendance in recognition of the new skills you have acquired.

Word Advanced

Who is this course aimed at?

This day course is aimed at anyone who wishes to progress to the most complicated functions and features in Microsoft Word 2010. Applicants should possess a good working knowledge of Word 2010 or have completed “Word Processing - Intermediate” training.

How long does the course last?

This is a full-day’s course, lasting 5 hours.
 

How will I benefit from this course?

By the end of the session, all participants should have gained a complete understanding of the higher functions of Word 2010. You will be able to perform the most advanced functions, including merging your documents with databases for mail-shots and producing well-defined forms. You will learn how to work with extremely large documents and how to use macros to speed through any repetitive functions. You will also receive a Certificate of Attendance in recognition of the new skills you have acquired.
